Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)

The IIFT exam is a management aptitude test conducted for admission to MBA International Business course offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts IIFT exam on behalf of the insitute. In IIFT 2021, a total of 33,393 candidates registered for the exam while 27,944 candidates appeared for it. The IIFT question paper consisted of questions from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and General Awareness.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria:
  • The aspirant must possess Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration in any discipline with at least 50 percent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST and PwD candidates) from a recognised university .

  • Candidates appearing for their final year of graduation exams can also apply subject to submission of proof.

Equations, Number System, Ratios and Proportion,  SI & CI, Geometry, Mensuration, Logarithms, Permutations & Combinations, Probability, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Height & Distance, Indices & Surds, Percentages, Allegation & Mixtures, Partnership, Time-Speed-Distance, Progressions etc.
Selections, Linear word formation, Comparisons, Deductions, Coding-Decoding, Series & Analysis, Input- Output, Directions, Seating Arrangements, Family tree problem, Symbol Based problems.
Most questions of DI are time-consuming due to the heavy calculations involved. Normally questions are asked from Bar Graph, Line Graph, Pie Chart, Tables and  Caselets.
Synonyms-Antonyms, Odd word out, Grammar, Prepositions, Phrases, Analogies, matching word meanings, Fill in the blanks, Spellings, Para Jumbles, Figures of speech, Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension.

IIFT GK section contains a mixture of questions on current affairs and static GK.  These are the topics from which questions are asked.
